Harmonic Action Environmental Policy

Purpose and Scope  

This document sets out the commitments and guidelines of Harmonic Action to enhance our environmental performance and outlines best practices for virtual and coworking environments. These practices are designed to ensure that all team members — whether working remotely or from coworking spaces — understand and embody our commitment to sustainability. 

This policy applies universally across our operations, including direct and remote interactions, and is integrated into our daily procedures and corporate culture.

Environmental Best Practices for Virtual and Coworking work  

 

TRAVEL 

To meet our environmental commitments, Harmonic Action asks our employees and contractors to apply the following best practices in virtual offices: 

  1. Prioritise the use of digital communication tools to minimise travel.
  2. When travel is necessary, utilise public transportation, cycling, or walking, and choose trains over planes or cars wherever feasible. 
  3. Offset unavoidable carbon emissions from all professional-related travel.  
  4. Encourage the use of less polluting vehicles. 
  5. Choose environmentally conscious hotels and dining options, ensuring that all booked accommodations align with our sustainability values. 
PAPER USE 

To meet our environmental commitments, Harmonic Action asks our employees and contractors to apply the following best practices: 

  1. Maintain a paperless environment across virtual offices and coworking spaces. 
  2. Use digital communication as our primary method of information sharing. 
  3. Reduce paper consumption in physical meetings and use recycled paper when printing is necessary. 
ENERGY CONSUMPTION 

To meet our environmental commitments, Harmonic Action asks our employees and contractors to apply the following best practices: 

  1. Opt for energy from renewable sources in home offices. 
  2. Utilize natural lighting and maintain energy-efficient heating and cooling practices. 
  3. Choose LED lighting and energy-efficient appliances. 
  4. When selecting coworking spaces, prioritize those that offer the best energy-saving solutions. 
WASTE MANAGEMENT  

To meet our environmental commitments, Harmonic Action asks our employees and contractors to apply the following best practices: 

  1. Minimise overall waste production and improve recycling efforts. 
  2. Avoid plastics by using reusable materials. 
  3. Manage e-waste responsibly and promote the repair and upcycling of electronic devices. 
INTEGRATING COWORKING SPACES

  2. Encourage coworking spaces to implement sustainable practices and provide resources for sustainable operations.
